Perry Pet

The vets and vet techs at Pery Pet in Livonia are amazing. I went in with my sick cat 45 minutes before his appt because he was in so much pain and they took him right in. Unfortunately, their was nothing they could do for my Benny. They brought him in and let me have time with him before he passed. They let me comfort him, while they comforted me. The vet explained everything to me and told me it was not my fault, which made me feel better. I just want to say, Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Everyone was truly amazing.

Professional and caring staff! I have never had “ferals” before until a year ago and it was stressful trapping my wounded baby in my garage let alone a trap again after he was neutered in June! The staff had the perfect timing for an appt even tho I have never had any pets there as patients and helped Neptune and I feel at ease and I’m very happy with the outcome. His wounds were treated and healing up nicely, he was given a topical for fleas and worms, nails trimmed, combo tested for my other cats safety and thankfully negative! . He’s doing wonderfully resting inside and hoping tk become and indoor kitty thanks to this amazing staff!

TL:DR: Vets here seem ok, but the admin and running of the office is horrible. I took one cat in here 5 times and not once did they get his gender right, not that it's a big deal but it should have been a sign of how disorganized and uncaring they were. The staff there all seem to hate their job and are annoyed that you're bothering them, something seems really wrong there and it shows. If you call close to closing time it may just ring and ring without anyone answering (it was 20 minutes before closing, I let it ring 2 full minutes). I had another cat that had a severe UTI and they needed to try and find an antibiotic that worked for him. They gave me the offer of taking his urine on a Friday and mailing it out at my cost if it grew bacteria, or him coming back in on the Monday. Since th

Perry Pet is a step well-above the rest! They are welcoming, incredibly helpful and understand that our furry friends are family. They got my bunny in promptly for an emergency situation and took exceptional care of him. The staff are very thorough and helpful, I cannot recommend Perry Pet Livonia enough!

This clinic refused to listen to us. They gave our cat a rabies vaccine that he had already gotten. We told them this. They refused to admit their error. Then they “graciously” decided to “let us go” without charging us. We were upset because of the callous, arrogant attitude of the admin staff, who, when they weren’t on their phones ignoring us, accused us of raising our voices, and summarily kicked us out. For the crime of correcting our cat’s sex after they got it wrong. And then doubled down. The admin staff, all five of them, are absolutely worthless and need to be fired and replaced.
