Perich Eye Center

My Optomitrist refered me to Perich for a further eye exam. It took 2 months to get an appointment. I arrived 1/2 hour prior to appointment to fill out the paperwork. I received 2 phone confirmation of my appointment dates prior. When I arrived, the office person said the Dr was on vacation and there was no one to see me. I made another appointment and had some tests done. No Dr. on site. Just medical staff. Took another 3 months to get an appointment to get the results. I came early. Waited , paid my co pay and waited some more. After I/2 hour I went up to the desk and asked if they forgot about me. She said my appointment wasn't for another hour. I showed her the written confirmation and she said, "oh well" like I was making up a story. Than she said they called me last week and changed

Won't get my eyedocter records from my primary care doctor. It's their job to obtain those records for a new patient. What kind of eye doctor does this??

One star for answering the phone. I have had 2 eye bleeds (burst vessels in the whites of my eye) in 2 weeks. I called last week and the receptionist/scheduler insisted I needed a referral and a pre-auth from the ins. (which I didn't need either - I have an open access HMO). This lady went on to chastise me for insisting that I needed to be seen asap. Informing me that blood vessels in the eye were NOT an emergency - I didn't need to be seen asap, that it was like a bruise and it had to resolve itself. Use eye drops! I was very nice and did not ask her when SHE graduated medical school. So, I called this morning to schedule after I went on to get the referral that I didn't need and my primary felt it WAS necessary to see the eye doctor ASAP. Breanna is an accomplished specialist. Just finished my eye injection yesterday with amazing results. As of today, no after affects or reaction. Love it, love it. AA+

I give them 0 stars. Requested appointment several times in the last 6 months , they asked for my medical records which I faxed to them at least 2 times. They promised to call me with appointment. Whenever I called about this they claimed they did not receive my records Worst experience I have ever had anywhere. I will look elsewhere for an Opthomologist.
