Month two of using Perform Specialty and already having serious issues. I finally got through to a real person today after trying for a week only to find out they don't even have my medication in stock. Seriously? I called my insurance prescription company who in turn called Perform. Perform blamed it on me claiming they couldn't refill because I was out of refills. Nope. I have 11 refills left. Now I am going to be out for at least 4 days waiting for them to get it in and once again, I have to call them to set up delivery...meaning long wait times again. I’ve been using Performance Specialty for the past few years now.. There customer service used to be good but is mediocre at best today. They seem to be shortstaffed and so reaching customer service is an arduous task. I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve wasted it on hold only to be disconnected. It’s also somewhat of a fiasco to get your medication delivered, I’ve had instances where my medication was delivered to my doctors office when it was supposed to be delivered to me, which clearly indicates a lack of communication between departments as for a Specialty Pharmacy their prices are high.

I'm being forced to use this company because of my insurance provider. The customer service is good and the staff are friendly, but in my opinion, it's poorly managed. This company markets themselves as a specialty pharmacy, which means that they provide some of the more expensive, lifesaving medication. A 24-hour turnaround time for a prescription to be reviewed by a pharmacist, combined with a 3 p.m. overnight delivery cutoff time, is a very bad combination. It's evident that this company is trying to save money by not employing enough pharmacists, which is either putting people's lives at risk or making their patients wait an extra day in pain just for a higher profit.

I spoke with Eileen today and she was kind, sweet and so helpful. She helped me both times I called about an issue regarding my medication. She is the standard of what customers service should be. A lot of times customer service representatives can be so rude and dismissive but it was so refreshing to talk to someone who’s the opposite. She is someone who is courteous and takes the time to make customers feel heard. She made my day, I’ve been going through a lot with my pain and life but she made me feel very hopeful. They call INCESSANTLY. I’m getting calls about every two hours. If I answer and go through the whole process and answer their questions and explain they keep calling me too often and I want it to stop they promise to make a note of it and then they call me right back. If I don’t answer they leave borderline threatening messages in my voicemail telling me it’s their last attempt to reach me and they’re no longer going to provide the medicine. It appears to not matter who I complain to, they keep calling me. I feel harassed, this is way too much. Also, they keep sending me medication after I explain I still have some left. I don’t know what to do about this at this point. It’s overwhelming.
