People First Urgent & Primary Care - Millington

I've been taking my mom to people first for some time now. We usually go during the week but we found out they were open on Saturdays too, which is much better for our schedule anyways. We always have such a positive experience and now we consistently go to the office on Saturdays. She always says that the staff are all very kind and professional and the tall nurse who usually helps us or draws her blood is always very friendly and helpful in explaining what is going on when the doctors are busy. Dr Mallory is very kind and thorough and has helped her so much. She raves about the weekend staff and they are much quicker than going during the week.

I’ve been happy with my care at the Millington location. I’ve had both walk-in and scheduled appointments and was seen in a timely manner. Front desk ladies are pleasant and professional. Triage is always quick and efficient. Once back in room, I’m usually seen within 5-10 minutes. Though longer when flu season is in full force. I’d happily recommend to anyone needing good medical care in this area.

At the start of my visit I was very pleased by the staff the way they work well together their professionalism. During my visit talking to Dr. Mallory I felt she was listening and was able to give me some kind of an answer not knowing my background history. After we talked and she said take a urine sample she never returned I told her that I was not able to comprehend much that I would appreciate her bearing with me. Instead of coming back in the room and explaining to me what the next steps would be such as sending out the urine sample getting it back and doing a follow up afterwards she just left the room and never return she gave reference for me to see the Semmes Murphey for migraines which was one of the issues but not an answer for hearing migraines I was already on a regimen for th

I'm so Thankful for this place. I called made an appointment, got in the next day ! Didn't have to wait months . Filled out a new patients paperwork and within minutes, I was called to the back , triaged and placed in a room. A few moments later I was greeted by the attending physician. I mean I can't say enough great things about my experience. It's a clean environment in the waiting area. The front desk people were very helpful polite and kind. The attending physician listened , was very patient and addressed all my needs! She didn't miss one thing. I would recommend this place to everyone. Bad experience for us. It seems if you make an appointment for a certain time they do not have to honor it. At least have the decency to check in with your patients who have an appointment and tell them you're running behind or you'll get with them or give them the option and tell them hey we're not going to be able to get you in on time would you like to reschedule. I understand this is a churn and burn clinic but an appointment is an appointment it works both ways, if you can't kerp an appointment time that you set, do it like the cable companies do, give patients a 4-Hour window, so we better understand that we might not get seen within a 4-Hour period.
