Penn Primary Care Kennett Square

I was 10 minutes late due to traffic in Kenner square and notified them on the app that I would be 10 minutes late. I got there and waited for 5 minutes while the receptionist was doing other things like paper work and talk to the nurse which I have no problem with but was then told I was 15 minutes late . I said I notified them on the app I would be 10 she said it has been 15 to which I reminded her she had me stand there for 5 minutes. She said would need to wait an hour because of being 15 minutes late. That is horrible I needed to be back at work. What horrible service. What is the point of communicating through the App. It should have told me to reschedule instead of waisting the time I took off from work to do this appointment

Absolutely appalled. My wife was seeking a new primary care physician, and I couldn't have been more disappointed with the actions of the medical "professionals" at this practice. Everything my wife said to the doctor was met with a recommendation for a prescription, even after my wife said that she tries to limit her intake of meds. Doctor even attempted to prescribe medicine for depression when depression wasn't even one of the symptoms that my wife mentioned. To top it all off, physical examination began without a request for consent and that is 100% unacceptable. To not have trauma-informed medical professionals in 2025 is embarrassing. Do better.

Wish I could give zero stars. We were standing in front of the receptionists as new patients and told we had to call to make an appointment. We have tried multiple times to call to make that appointment and been on hold each time over 40 minutes with no answer. How can we make an initial appointment if we can’t even get through? Receptionists are not friendly or patient at all. If you need a doctor, don’t bother here as you’ll never get through to speak to anyone and when you do, they’ll tell you they are at least 5 months out in making appointments.

I was dropped by my primary care physician at this location because the fact that I hadn't visited in 5 years and now that I need to visit, they say they dropped me from their system. Horrible!

In essence, please don't try and book with this office. I called in August, was told I had to wait until Oct to have an appt with a new doctor because existing doctors were booked until 2025. I waited until my appt a month and a half later, I showed up, they informed me they called me TWENTY minutes earlier to cancel me and rescheduled me without asking if I was available. The next day they cancelled that new appt via voicemail and rescheduled me for a day I am not in the state. I tried calling back ALL MORNING to speak to a manager to reschedule and it was a nightmare. I received a voicemail saying they rescheduled me for December, again, without asking. This was one of the worse healthcare experiences and made me feel like less than a person.
