Penn Highlands Community Pharmacy

A friend of mine was unable to get his meds from CVS. They did not know how many more days til they could. I called penn at 6pm. They close at 7. They had filled his medication and had it ready when I got there minutes before they closed. They was so nice . Thank you all !

They're convenient because of having a drive thru open 24/7. But there are many times I've driven up to the drive thru window and the person inside will look at me and then completely ignore me. If the window isn't your job there, that's fine. But can you inform the person whose job it is that there is someone waiting?

Very convenient for after work pick up and late needs!! Only had 1 rude interaction with a staff member... otherwise have ALWAYS had fantastic service!!!!!

Incredible hardworking staff. They worked hours on making sure my prescription was available for me. Please appreciate your pharmacist and pharmacy techs. I would not have had my much needed medicine on a Friday, if it weren’t for them. Thank you Tina and Jess. You’re amazing.

Be very wary about using this pharmacy. They consistently mishandle billing and have had multiple issues with therapeutic dose increases. On several occasions, they attempted to charge me over $80 for medication that my insurance normally covers for free. They do not notify you if your prescription is not covered or if the copay is unusually high. I’ve been stuck paying these charges because someone else picked up my medication without knowing the cost. Once it’s picked up, it cannot be returned. This practice feels predatory toward disabled and elderly patients who may not realize what they’re being charged until it’s too late.
