Customer Reviews
My in-person visits and overall experience have been positive for the past 2 years. Dr Gerber does a good job answering my questions, explaining my test results and outlining next steps. The front desk staff are friendly and courteous. I would recommend them.
As a Type 1 Diabetic I was first assigned a Nurse Practitioner that was very helpful. Unfortunately, things only went down hill from here. In order to get in touch with your team (med questions, refill issues, insurance request) you have to go through Penns automated voice system, which is truly a nightmare. You cannot call your office directly - you go through the web of the entire Penn Health system (meaning an oncology patient who needs to change an appointment in west Philadelphia is dialing the same line). It is slow, unreliable, and rarely gets you to the right department. It will frequently just randomly hangup. My NP also left the office and they could not schedule me for another six (6!!) months out until a new one was brought in. If you want place that makes you just a number a
Dr. Gerber was sarcastic to me in WRITING. I've switched. Now, Dr. Munshi wants a Tele visit for a first time visit. I'm a Penn alum and have been around. This is the worst Penn medicine department I've experienced. The elevator is so awful I wouldn't send coal miners down in it.
Why are my prescriptions getting mixed up mail service being sent to bricks and mortar and brick and mortar being sent to mail service?. Why do I have my mail order service contacting after 3days placing a renewal saying they have been trying to contact the office various times could I call them? Why as a patient should I have to be doing with this? The people handling the prescription end @ 8th and Walnut "14th floor" were more with it when they were at 8th and Pine on the "1st floor"!
I see Dr. Munshi regularly. She's very thorough & her staff is polite & helpful. Highly recommend.
