Had to get a root canal done. The place is very clean and lit as soon as I got checked in by the friendly staff. Got to meet Dr. Shih he was very professional and calm which made me feel very calm as well since I am a anxious person when visiting any medical facility. Procedure was quick and painless. I had my second root canal treatment today. The last one was 2 years ago. Both times the treatment was pain free, and Dr Shin was very professional and at the same time was also very nice and supportive. I was soooooo nervous going in, and was happy to find out (again) that it was really ok. If I ever need another root canal done, I’ll definitely call Dr Shin again.

Dr. Shis was very patient and caring. He communicated what he would be doing and made sure I was comfortable during my procedure. The office staff was also very attentive.

Peninsula Endodontics in Mountain View is a professional office from top to bottom. Dr. Shih’s front desk staff explained scheduling, billing, and insurance very clearly. Likewise, Dr. Shih explained my procedure in very clear terms and patiently answered questions before performing the root canal. He worked quickly and efficiently, and honestly I did not experience substantial pain during or after the procedure was completed. They made what could have been an anxiety provoking experience quite easy.

I needed a root canal to treat root resorption. I waited nearly half an hour be seeing a technician, despite my 7:45AM appointment time. Things when smoothly and quickly thereafter. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Shih was very good at explaining everything, including what to expect as he progressed through the entire procedure. He even called the next day to make sure I was fine. I was, but my wallet took a beating. I hope to never see him again, but if I need future Endodontic treatment, I will most certainly go back.
