Pedro J. Nunez, MD: Doctor, Cary NC

Dr. Nunez has been my primary care doctor for the past 15 years. He is an extremely competent physician, compassionate person, and one of the most intelligent healthcare providers that I have ever met. I am grateful to have such a knowledgeable and good man take care of me.

Dr. Nunez has been a wonderful doctor for me. I can't speak fr others but for me he and his staff have been awesome. I was having trouble controlling my diabetes type 2, and he and I both knew it. He asked me to go on to the Keto diet and it has genuinely helped tremendously. I have lost about 60 pounds on it since last July and I am now only taking Metformine for it. I owe him a lot for his deciding to go this way with my treatment, and, though I now have access to the Duke Health System, I will be staying with Dr. Nunez as my PCP

I've had military doctors for the last 6 years and decided to look for a personal doctor. Dr. Nunez is a very professional and personable practitioner and answers all questions that you might have or will at least find the answer. His staff is also very helpful and welcoming.

Dr. Núñez is the most condescending and unempathetic doctor I have ever had the misfortune of going to. From the get go, he was completely disconnected from me as a patient in pain. He was accusatory in his tone. This man literally kicked me out of his practice while I was in the middle of a new patient consult. We were going through my previous treatments and I stated that I had briefly tried a prescription but decided to forgo using it after reading many horror stories of withdrawal, brain fog, and other very scary side effects. He continued to question my position on this particular medication. He asserted that I was clearly not interested in managing my pain if I decided not to use this medication, mind you he wasn't even the physician I saw for that medication! He continued to push h

Super professional staff and providers. I felt like I was thoroughly taken care of. I was provided adequately time with the Provider. No waiting. Every single person that I met including the front desk ladies were super friendly and police. Thank you!
