The “care” component of healthcare feels significantly lacking. There is a noticeable gap in service quality, particularly in internal provider communication regarding test orders, scheduling, and billing processes. Coordination appears fragmented, which creates confusion and delays for patients. Additionally, it is extremely difficult to reach someone by phone when questions arise. Billing departments often contact patients from out-of-state numbers, which can be confusing and concerning. When pricing information is requested, representatives frequently struggle to provide clear or accurate answers. Greater transparency, accountability, and patient-centered communication are urgently needed.

Despite repeated calls, Dr. Meddles refused to speak with me—her receptionist told me, “She doesn’t call patients. Our protocol is to use the portal or make another appointment.” Without even knowing what happened, she later recommended another medication increase and reminded me, “You can reach me two ways: the portal or an appointment.” I have never felt less human or more like a number. The person who performed the eeg was good. The staff outside my door was extremely unprofessional, oblivious and rude. The eeg test required I sleep but that was impossible due to the cackling, loud laughter and unprofessional conversations going on outside the door. Oblivious to the testing in progress signs and the basic fact that those tests happen within their department! I paid $2000 for this test only to not be able to have it done correctly. Ridiculous!!

Before they changed ownership, it was good. I love Dr Meddles but now you cannot get through to a person the call backs are sometimes good and sometimes not. Don’t miss a call because you will not get a person and it will be about 2-3 day delay. My son isn’t doing well and they don’t have equipment, don’t have insurance contracts. It’s a waiting game while my son is not okay. It really sucks it became like this.

I was told testing would be 30 minutes. It is actually an hour. They place you in an extremely hot room with 0 ventilation. I had two infants with me while my 8 year old was getting an EEG and they expected me to leave my 8 year old child unattended when I complained of how hot it was in the room. Do better for your patients and their families.
