Pediatrics by the Sea

Our baby girl was born and there were a lot of things we chose to deny or wait until we can sit down and be fully informed on the options there are. For one it’s impossible too find a dr that is willing to work with you with certain denial in your record. So the fact we were able to be seen is a huge plus and when I walked in I expected things to be a little turbulent but it was the complete opposite. The staff were amazing instantly greeted us at the door. But more importantly The doctor was very knowledgeable, They had an answer for all of the very tough questions that we had as first time parents and never once did they make us feel like we were making the wrong decision. They made sure that we were fully informed and assured us that our child’s health is in our hands we go to them for

Finding a new pediatrician can be stressful, especially if you're new to the area. However, the staff at Pediatric by the Sea were incredibly responsive and scheduled my daughter for an appointment on the same day. They made us feel at ease with their gentle care. We are happy to say that we have found our new pediatrician.

I am extremely disappointed to write this review as I think that there are doctors here that are very nice and good with the children. However, I took my daughter today for her 1 year old check up. We were seen by a doctor who introduced herself as Melissa and a physicians assistant. “Melissa” was cold and extremely aggressive with my daughter. Since the nurse didn’t take my daughter vitals, the doctor had to and she forcefully held my daughters head down to check her ears and I asked her if there was another way she could do it because it seemed cruel to me. Then she proceeded to tell her assistant verbatim. “She’s strong and you have to be stronger” as she forced my daughter head into the bed. Keep in mind my daughter is only a year old still a baby. My son has been going there since he was born. So 12 years now. I have even been seen by the Np. Both offices are nice and have parking. The west location has more parking. Dr. Stemp and Dr Bradford make me feel heard has a parent and are always there , call after hours a Dr or the NP will pick up. They have a nice staff and stable as well. I’m grateful to have them as my son doctors.

We saw Dr. Jideama at the downtown Delray office, and she was excellent! It was raining and a nurse helped me carry his stroller up the back steps to get him inside faster! We were in the process of switching pediatricians, because the last office had flyers EVERYWHERE (every room, check in, check out, above the baby scale - literally everywhere) stating that if you choose not to follow THEIR vaccination schedule - you’d have to let the desk know to forward your child’s records to their new pediatrician. When I asked the old place for info about the vaccinations (because my son was a NICU baby, and we’re choosing delayed vaccinations) they handed me a binder and walked away - when I told her, Dr Jideama ASKED if she could give me information on the specific vaccinations for his age and let
