Pediatrica of Port St. Lucie

This practice has been taking care of our children since we’ve lived here, so about 4 years. They’ve seen our son since the day after he was born. The staff and providers are absolutely amazing! They almost always get us in for same day appointments if we need them. My biggest reason for the great review is the Nurse Practitioner Christina Baxter! She is an absolute star and an angel. The way she plays with the kids while also giving mom and dad advice is something not many can do. My wife and I joke that we like to bring our kids in when they aren’t even sick just to get some time with Ms. Baxter. If you’re questioning whether or not this might be a good practice for your children, I promise if you give them 1 chance and have the opportunity to meet the team, especially Christina Baxter,

We have been going to Cornerstone Pediatrics for over 2 years. I have seen Dr. Aponte and Dr. Baxter. First off, I want to say that I absolutely love Dr. Baxter. She has been so great with both of my babies. I won’t comment on Dr. Aponte since he is now retired. However, the office staff is absolute trash. They are unbelievably rude, for no apparent reason, to a good patient/family. The front office staff and assistants have zero discretion or consideration when it comes to unique situations. They are “no” people instead of finding a way to say “yes” and providing appropriate patient care. I will provide an example. I recently took one of my children to see Dr. Baxter for 2y wellness exam. During the visit, she noticed some redness inside one of her ears. She sent an antibiotic suspension

We recently had to change offices because Cornerstone is not listed on our new insurance plan. We have been going to them for 8 years. All 3 of my children were patients. Overall, it has been a great experience with them. The office staff and nurses have always been the most kindest and understanding. We have seen many different NPs as well as Dr. Aponte through the years. Dr. Aponte has always been kind and welcoming. He gives you all the facts and doesn’t push on unnecessary issues. He offers his professional care and option and leaves it up to you in make the decision. Some say his accent can be an issue especially if he talks fast but he happy to clarify anything for you. The new “ doctor “ had my son so uncomfortable he was in tears the whole way home 0 stars do not recommend!! Cornerstone was so much better !!

Best pediatric office in town. The staff are very welcoming, kind, friendly and always willing to help. The doctors are very knowledgeable, caring, an offer exceptional care every time. My kids love going see their doctors. They're always very good about squeezing my kids in in an emergency. The rooms are clean. And the wait is usually not long. The doctors take their time to address every issue and concern that we have. This office always goes above and beyond my standards.
