Dr. Davis and Dr. Hermantin are two of the best doctors we've ever seen, and we've seen many specialists between 4 special needs kiddos. In our initial appointment we saw Dr. Davis, had an amazing experience, and we now see Dr. Hermantin in the same office, who I absolutely love. She is patient, a wealth of knowledge, compassionate, kind, professional, and honestly a calming presence. She made me feel empowered to make the best choice for my child while still ensuring I had all the information necessary to make that choice. My daughter has a lot of things going on medically/neurologically, and she has such a well-rounded plan to ensure we have the best outcome possible. While Dr. Davis is a fantastic neurologist to our daughter, the office is extremely difficult to get a hold of when in need of important documentation, such as letters or medication referrals. Everyone is very kind however the timeline of the needed information is very difficult to get in your hands because you can’t get a hold of the office and those in specific departments.

Horrible experience that its taken me a year to write about it. My son had a 12 hour eeg in a run down room, paper thin walls hearing children crying and traffic all night below. Took 2 weeks to get the results and a follow up apt where dr never came in. NP said my son needed to start medicine immediately. Even though he actually hadnt had a seizure before. She was unable to answer direct questions about the eeg and said I had to simply trust the dr who I hadnt gotten to speak with following eeg. I went to get a second opinion through Arnold Palmer. THANK GOD. They were shocked this office suggested medication simply after a 12 hour eeg. No brain scan yet, no genetic testing, no neurological nutritionist. We are 2 years later NO MEDS. NO EPISODES and much much more informed.

Dr. Davis saved my daughter’s life. In my opinion, he is the best pediatric neurologist in the Southeast. His bedside manner with my daughter is genuine, and I believe he truly loves and cares about her, our life, and our journey. We have tried many other top specialists in the Southeast just to get a second opinion, and we always come back to Dr. Davis. He listens to her, and then it’s my turn. He smiles when I pull out my notepad and go through my list of questions. He makes sure that I do not leave the office until he is comfortable that we understand the treatment plan. Dr. Davis and his medical staff are so knowledgeable, attentive, reassuring, and kind, and they really shine in their care for our children. I wish I could say the same thing about the office staff. All three of my children require the care of pediatric neurology, and two of my three children are patients of Dr. Davis. At least one requires daily medication. Needless to say, when parents like us are calling to make an appointment, ask for records, schedule evaluations and/or need prescription refills, it's Imperative that the office staff is receptive, effective, or heck, just even picking up the phone. Every time I need to schedule anything or ask for.anything I need to prepare for at least two weeks of calling and calling before anyone picks up. I will not pull them out of the practic
