Pediatric Lung and Allergy Center

Dr. Kapoor listens well and has been working with us for a while to get my daughter's asthma medication correct. The lady at the front desk has always been friendly and helpful, and the medical records office has also been incredibly helpful when I needed to have them fax records over to a pediatric cardiologist. The woman in medical records not only went out of her way to call me to let me know exactly what she needed, but she also gave me her personal email address for me to send paperwork to since I didn't have access to a fax machine.

While the doctors are good, I have never had such difficulties working with office staff. They are rarely available, rarely return my phone calls, and have made it difficult to get records to where they need to go. I have called twice in two days now, and have not spoken to anyone about getting records sent to my son's school so he can be allowed to use his inhaler if he needs to. If there were another option for a pulmonologist close to my home, I would happily take it.

My daughter was discharged from the hospital with an apnea monitor. We were told that we had to come to this practice, and were not given a choice as far as which Dr. we could see. We saw Dr. Kapoor and though we liked him, I would never want to come back to this place. The office staff here is TERRIBLE. They just leave their phones on voicemail for the entire day, you can not reach them. They did not send my daughters records to her pediatrician, and I have been going through a continuous battle trying to get them to do so. Someone from the medical records department called me and left an unprofessional voicemail extremely early in the morning. My daughter has seen several doctors at the Pediatric Lung Center over the last 8 years. All are excellent. We now just see Dr. Kapoor. He is very thorough and clear in his explanations. We have always had excellent customer service from receptionists and nurses as well. I highly recommend them to all my friends.

I have NEVER had such negative experience with the office staff at a medical office. They are TERRIBLE. They reschedule appointments without notifying you, then blame you when you show up for the appointment. They make you wait more than hour even when you show up ON TIME! I was 5 minutes early and still had to wait 90 minutes for my son to be called back for his allergy shot for absolutely no explicable reason! They refuse to send email confirmations of appointments or send medical records despite a signed release. They make it nearly impossible both logistically and financially to have your allergy shots given elsewhere. If I could give them zero stars I would. I haven't had a problem with the doctor, but can't understand how they keep such unprofessional, rude, and inconsiderate p
