Pediatric Dentistry of Sherman

My husband, 4-year old son & I were camping nearby Sherman, about two hours from home. The day before Thanksgiving, my son fell on a rock & lost one of his teeth. The staff here were amazing! They were able to get us in within 2 hours from our phone call, which is outstanding considering we were not established patients. When we arrived, everything in the practice stopped for our son. The staff quickly got us in to see the dental hygienist/dental assistant, who took a quick X-ray, then the dentist, Dr. K, spoke to us about what she would need to do. She & her assistant brought us into a room so they could fully evaluate my son. They were so very caring & did what they could as quickly as possible as it was suspected that my son had a concussion. My son went for his first ever dental appointment and the office staff worked with me trying to figure out his insurance information. Skylar K was so sweet, helpful and very thorough in explaining what she was as going to be doing in my son’s exam as well as was Dr Williamson. He told me some important information about diet I did not think of and was very polite. Definitely happy with this office and its staff.

While the clinical care and office environment are great, I encountered significant issues with their billing and insurance processing. Despite the provider being in-network with our specific plan, the office refused to accept our insurance, which caused unnecessary delays in my children’s treatment. I’d recommend the office review their contract requirements to ensure patient care isn't hindered by administrative errors.

This place is amazing! I brought all 5 of my kids today and the staff is so sweet and kind. They took the time to explain what’s going on and answered every question we had. After leaving all of my kids raved about how they like this place better than the old one we went to. Absolutely recommend

My oldest (8) is in the spectrum and it's usually hard to work on him, but Thalia is so good and patient with kids that my son did GREAT!!!!!!!! Thank you for being so kind and sweet. She explained everything she was doing and talked to my boys about interesting things they like. I can tell that made them forget they were nervous. Seriously just so great with kids!!!!
