Pediatric Dental Associates of Ambler

My kids always say the dentist and assistants are really nice to them. I really like the dental team that help with the kids as well. I’m not a fan of the staff at the front desk. I’ve been bring my kids to this office for about 2 years now and have felt the front desk manners have been declining. I can barely get in touch with when call. The wait can easily be 15-20 minutes sometimes longer. They really need to hire a better front desk team.

Always such a pleasant experience each visit! All of the staff from front office staff to the hygienists to the dentist are all wonderful. They do the best job making your child feel safe and comfortable. They also have a lot of patience! They were willing to let my daughter try a second time for her X-rays after some tears the 1st time. They also are thorough in their explanations for treatment plans.

Have been coming here for years with no issues. I’m not sure what scheduling issues have been going on, but this visit was unacceptable. For my 4 year old to have a basic cleaning done, we were there for 2 hours. 3pm on a Monday (non holiday). Had to ask receptionist if the apt was soon, she said “your‘e next”. Proceeded to wait an hour to get called into the back, to find no hygienist or dentist working. Didn’t get seen until 4:30 by dental hygienist. Thankfully she was great with my kid, very thorough, and gave her a goodie bag which distracted her until dentist came over. When dentist finally came over, asking the wrong patient next to us by my kids name, if we were next. When all said and done we were told “you did so good you waited so long today” no explanation or apology. People lef

The staff was super friendly. My 5-year-old had zero complaints. He loves the suction cup toothbrushes, the fun sunglasses and the movies being played while the exam takes place. It is a pleasure to take him there. He's been a patient going on 3 years now and we always speak highly of our experience.

Waited over an hour for a booked appointment. If something was wrong in the system that should have been communicated with me. I was told that was my appt time and I would be seen soon. It took one hour to be seen which made it really hard on me and the kids (newborn and a 3 year old). I wish there would have been better communication on their end so I could have rescheduled instead of fight for my life in a waiting area for an hour! Other than that, we love the people that work there and how Great they are with kids!
