Pediatric Cardiology of Long Island

Dr. Santa-Ines was wonderful with my son. She knew how to speak to a teenage boy in a way that was honest, but not scary, and firm, but not imposing. Dr. Santa-Ines was able to convince a reluctant teen why he needed to use a heart monitor for a short period of time because she was clear and straight-forward in her explanation to him. As a parent, she allayed my fears and gave me total confidence in her approach and her knowledge. Her demeanor is approachable, kind and caring. She is excellent.

Every person in the office was nice as can be. The front desk was quick and courteous. The woman who did our EKG and the man who did our Echo were both so sweet with our young daughter, took the time to explain it to her what was going on and chit chat with her when she was nervous. Our doctor was fantastic. She really took the time to talk to us and explain everything going on, all the possibilities, future paths, the works. At a time filled with nerves, everyone at this office did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable and confident in our daughter’s care plan. THIS is a dream example of how a pediatric doctors office should run. All of the other reviews are so old. Clearly they’ve worked out the wrinkles in the years since!

The staff at this office is the worst! Never had the chance to see the doctor. The 5 women at the desk insisted that I had a deductible for 5 separate procedure codes. I was there for my daughter to have one test. After arguing with me and insisting I leave a credit card to pay any balances that there may have been after my copay, my husband insisted we leave as this office didn’t care about the well being of my daughter, only the money... we found another “old school” doctor who did a full exam and the test needed... all for my copay. This office is ONLY interested in the money... SHAME ON YOU

Doctors are fine. The back office is a nightmare. They could not fill out my insurance codes correctly. After a year of fighting with them and begging them to correct their errors, they chose to send me to a collection agency over $15. Seriously. Completely their error and now its my problem. The kicker is when I called to ask to speak to one of the doctors to tell them how the office was reflecting on them, they said no. Nice. Well I guess public discourse is the only way for them to know. I hope they check.

First time I was there my baby was knees done by the doctor doing the chest exam second time I was running late because very very bad traffic so I called them with a heads up of my lateness. Gave me attitude and when it came time for me to get there a few minutes before arranged time, doctor left !!!Why tell me you were office will wait and then Dr. leaves not caring about my five-month-old son’s heart situation!!!! soon after words I receive a bill for $50 for a no-show appointment fee !!!!!! What?!?! Also After trying to fix the situation their last words to me were we’re not waiving the $50 and you have a decision to make with your son🤕👎
