Pediatric Associates Weston

Today was my child’s 4-year birthday and we had her 4-year well visit scheduled. Originally, the appointment was set for a different date, but we received a call from the office asking us to reschedule. We adjusted our schedule and changed the appointment as requested. When we arrived, we waited about an hour and a half before being seen. After the visit, we were told that the required vaccines were not available and that we would need to come back. In total, we spent about two hours there. When we asked about scheduling for next Saturday, which is the only day we are available, we were told there were no openings and were advised to visit a different location instead. Love Dr Lacey! He always takes the time to go over what I need and want. Facility is new and clean. Front staff always so sweet. Only complaint is they are ALWAYS running late. Even if I get to the back on time. I'm waiting for the nurse to come in. Understood they probably have a certain amount of patients have to see an hr so just plan on it taking a while

It was my first time taking my daughter to see a physician at pediatric associates. It was a terrible experience the girl at the front desk was quick to charge me $135.00 for the visit when I explained to her that our copayment was $50.00. Instead of her or the staff calling my insurance to verify they use their computers push a button so that the computer/software can verify it for them and being inaccurate. Long story short my daughter needed to be seen so I paid the $135.00 and after calling my insurance they are now going to reimburse me my money. It’s absolutely ridiculous that I have to do the jobs for these people in big companies/corporations. To say the least I will not be taking my daughter back there again. I made a flu appt, normally a 5 min visit. The first appt was at 11:30am after waiting for over 30 min was told they didn’t have any at this location. Then made an appt for another location, showed up at 1:15pm to be the first person after lunch, my appt was at 1:45pm. Lunch is from 12-1:30pm, crazy 1.5 hr lunch. Waited until 2:15pm to be seen. 1 entire hour in the waiting area for a five min appt with no other pts in the place except 2 that came after me. It was a horrible waste of a day and experience even though the staff was professional there was no care for your time.

I waited for 75 minutes to be checked in and see a doctor. The place is packed and no manager around to supervise and that’s the reason the patients waits for more than an hour to see a doctor with sick kids. The doctor diagnoses was based on photos from google of how strep A throat looks like and he didn’t agree to even consider doing a test to my daughter to decline strep saying it’s a 5-10% and he’s not willing to check that. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
