Be aware: secretaries are not trained to give you ANY USEFUL or RELIABLE info about vaccinations. I booked purposedly an appointme for a specific vaccine and called the secretaries multiple times to availability and ability to get a vaccine for my baby. Next thing I know when attending appointment is that one day late for shot and no longer covered by my health insurance. Secretaries did not input my demand in records although they asked me to fill over 5 forms as new patient and spoke to them about 3 times over the phone before my appointment date. It was a very frustrating visits. Doctors and nurse were good but I was unable to immunized my baby as a result of poor admin services.

Terrible experience at this Arlington location. I arrived 15 minutes before my son’s scheduled appointment. When I walked in, the front desk lady didn’t greet us or make eye contact. She simply asked for my son’s last name and said “you’re all set,” and continued chatting with her colleague instead of focusing on her work. I sat down with my son as instructed. At that time, there was only one person ahead of us, yet several patients who arrived after us were called in before us. After waiting over 30 minutes, she finally called my son’s name and stated it was the “last call.” When I asked why we had been waiting so long while others who arrived later were seen first, she claimed she did not see us and said we were not checked in. I was very confused, as she was the one who checked us in.

New to this area and my son is a new patient, and called ahead to tell them I would be 5-10 min late due to traffic jamming up. They told me there was absolutely no grace period extended. We waited for this appointment for a month and due to unforeseen circumstances there are no exceptions and told me you can just reschedule. Most appointments (even for adults) give you up to 15 min. I will be finding a new place that will work with people and wants to see patients.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with PAA since my son’s birth. We’ve been able to quickly and easily schedule appointments and all the providers we’ve seen have been helpful and friendly. Since we started daycare a few months ago, we’ve had numerous sick visits and really appreciate the extended hours and same-day availability. We always leave with peace of mind!

The actual office is fantastic but after 2 years I will be finding a new pediatrician solely due to the poor practices of their billing department. You have a better chance at winning the lottery than getting their billing department to answer the phone. Admin staff continuously ruins the experience for so many local offices, it’s actually sad.
