I'm one week out from my Mohs procedure and I'm so happy with the results! I was extremely nervous to have surgery on my face. Everyone from Dr. K, to the awesome MA Katelyn, to the warm and friendly front desk staff made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the procedure. Their attention to patient care is above any practice I've ever visited. I highly recommend Dr. K and his staff!

I am very pleased with the care I received at Peak Skin Center. Everyone I encountered from check-in, to the medical assistant, and then the Moh’s surgeon were extremely kind and professional. I was advised of every step from pre-surgery preparation to the final stitching and bandaging. I went in feeling very nervous since I was having the procedure on my head, but I felt at ease as the procedure began. I received a follow up call from the medical assistant checking on me that made me feel like they really care!

My family and I have had an excellent experience at Peak Skin Center. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this practice takes pride in both their presentation and the way they care for patients. The staff are consistently professional, friendly, and welcoming. Dr. Knackstedt is not only an expert in his field, he listens carefully to concerns, explains things clearly, and puts patients at ease -- even my middle schooler! We’re new to the area and feel very fortunate to have found this practice so quickly. In six months' time, we’ve already visited for a variety of needs, including regular skin checks, treatment of specific skin concerns, and cosmetic services, and have felt well cared for every time. We genuinely feel valued as patients. We highly recommend Peak Skin Center!

Office staff and Doctor were extremely nice. Doctor and staff throughly explained everything that I asked about along with easy to understand resolutions. I found a dermatologist right here in Fuquay Varina which makes it all the more satisfying. The doctor’s assistant, Mia, was extremely kind and helpful in making my visit calm. Her demeanor during my visit was refreshing to be around. She was able to answer my questions in a simple and positive way that a 62 year old man could understand.

I had to cancel my just appointment due to daughter Testing positive for COVID the day before and I started running a fever that night. I left a message by phone and on portal and they still kept sending me a $50 bill for a no show fee and just sent it to collections after I keep contacting them to please take it off. I would not be a patient at this facility if they treat patients this way. Patients can’t help when they get sick.
