Peachtree Immediate Care - Griffin

The wait time, despite having an appointment, was pretty lengthy in both the waiting room and once I was taken back. However, once the NP came in the appointment moved pretty quickly. The staff was friendly at this visit, though that has not always been my experience there. While they say they take walk-ins, that is not always true. If their “reservations” are full, they will turn you away. If you are going to go, check to see if they have any slots available or you may not be seen.

Arrived today with my elderly father to a locked door even though we had an appointment. When someone came to the door, we were told there was no provider today (Sunday) and that we could find another urgent care in the area. The others are not affiliated with his doctor so they won’t see him. The regular doctor who is usually on call is great.

I came in with a breathing issue and knew that something wasn’t right with my body physically. I was seen within 10 minutes without an appointment! I got an initial exam, then an EKG, and blood drawn. Savannah the attending RN was phenomenal, and Keisha the Tech was awesome as well. I was a walk-in patient. Stacey the receptionist made my check-in process seamless and easy. You have a great staff of true professionals at the Griffin location; keep up the good work.

The wait time was a little long but they had multiple patients when I walked in so that was no big deal, they took all my symptoms seriously and the doctor was extremely nice. If it wasn't for him being very caring I wouldn't have went to the ER getting medication to save my heart.

This facility engages in double billing practices. After learning that my account had been sent to collections, I continued making payments on the balance. When I came in today for care—having no other viable option—I was informed that I would not be seen unless the full balance of the previous bill was paid upfront. It is concerning that a debt can be sold to collections with an active payment arrangement in place, yet the provider still demands full payment before rendering services. Patients should be aware of this practice and proceed with caution!!!!!
