Dr Hurlbut is truly the best. His understanding of hand injuries is incredible. He takes time to listen, exam and problem solve as he makes his diagnosis. He then throughly explains what recover will look and feel like. The staff in the office are also very helpful. Whenever I need Orthopedic care, Dr. Hurlbut is my choice!!

Everyone at the office today was so kind. Dr. Hurlbut explained how my right middle finger was stabilized and that was good news. He went through the X-rays and explained how he will do the hand surgery on my left hand. I had all my questions answered about the surgery and recovery. Thank you!

I have had the best experience with Dr. Hurlbut and all the staff at Prairie Orthopedic. I would not hesitate to recommend him for shoulder assessment and surgery or nerve surgery in the hand. I had a complicated shoulder repair surgery compounded by a nerve that became angry and was causing significant pain. He was able to do a second surgery to give immediate relief from the nerve pain. I was able to get back in PT and start making progress. He clearly explains everything each step of the way. He and his staff are kind and professional.
