Patrick Coates, MD, FACS

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Patrick Coates. He has a fantastic bedside manner and treats his patients with the utmost care, both mentally and physically I have felt cared for by his staff and him the day of my surgery. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Patrick Coates is an excellent doctor and did an excellent job on my surgery. His son was working with him at the time in the office staff was outstanding! All of us who have gone to him were so happy until the new doctor came in and his son left. All their old staff left. The new staff with the exception of some I would imagine there are some nice ones Are totally in adequate. I’ve called two times and I’m three months. To reschedule for an endoscopy and sonogram. I had to cancel the first one because I had Covid. Then I got Covid again and my father passed away. I left messages for the nurse practitioner both times and never heard back. It seems I am not the only one that is not happy with the staff of this new doctor. All of us have had bad experiences and are not recommending this

Dr. Patrick Coates is a amazing,caring, great surgeon! He is the only reason I come back to his office. He really needs to look into his staff and the way they work. These PA do not know anything about the patients they just pick up a paper and go into a room highly unprofessional!!!! They do not in any way care about the patients in the office you just get pushed aside. The staffing all needs to go and hire caring staff who actually know there patients.

I had a very great experience during my gastric bypass surgery! Dr Coats and his son very great doctors! Dr Coates was very sympathetic with me before and after surgery! I highly recommend either one of the doctors for the surgery!

Dr Coates son will be performing my surgery. Staff is wonderful. They take the time to answer all my questions. I’ve had over 5 different people call to confirm my surgery date and to assure me I will be taken care of
