Patients First - Crawfordville

Excellent experience from start to finish. While on vacation I happened to get beach sand in one eye. Tried cleaning the eye myself but after a couple of days it was painfully obvious I needed medical attention. Not being from Florida I researched several Urgent Care facilities and based on the many positive reviews chose Patients First. They weren’t the closest (over an hour drive) but I’m very glad I made the effort. From start to finish they were professional, competent and courteous. The checkin process was quick and simple. The front desk assistant was friendly and helpful. I was seen by the doctor in just a matter of minutes. He quickly examined the eye, diagnosed a cornea scratch and had a prescription for antibiotic eye drops sent to the pharmacy I chose. It took no more than 30 m

Lydia at the front desk was awesome. She fit me in to the schedule and went above and beyond assisting me with completing the admissions forms on my phone. Amazing. And the Nurse Practitioner was extremely pleasant, through and professional. Thank you, Patient’s First!

I thought the service that I had there was very good. I got seen quickly, got tests run, and felt good about the visit. It was not covered by my insurance, which basically sucks and the visit was expensive. The only issue that I had was that the receptionist was incredibly sick. He was wearing a mask, but clearly not well. I don’t understand a healthcare company that would have a sick employee working! Their focus should be on taking care of people, including their employees, not making them work when they’re sick. I felt terrible for that poor man because I was also sick and knew how he felt.

I had another great experience at Patient First in Crawfordville. Every single person I interacted with, from the front desk to the nurse to the doctor, was professional, kind, and genuinely attentive. It really felt like they cared about me as a person, not just a patient.

The front desk staff is always so welcoming and kind, especially the sweet lady who greets patients with such warmth. She makes every visit feel personal rather than just another appointment, which truly sets the tone for a positive experience. The wait time is always quick, and the office is consistently clean and well-kept, which makes visits even more comfortable. The physician assistant we saw today was excellent—just as professional, attentive, and personable as the other ones we’ve seen in the past. He took the time to connect with my child and made sure we left feeling confident and cared for. Overall, the entire team creates a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment that we greatly appreciate. From getting quick stitches to X-rays, we have never had a bad experience.
