Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Sterling

Excellent experience here. I came in on a Sunday morning and had a very short wait. Came in for a cough and had X-rays done, also tests for flu and Covid. I was diagnosed with bronchitis. Make sure to log onto website as X-rays are later read by a radiologist and you can download the results. The doctor or PA just gives you initial reading but they will call if you need to follow up on findings. Nice clean spaces and friendly staff. Looks like a big ER in the back room. Pharmacy on site which is handy. They filed with my insurance.

I had an excellent experience at Patient First Primary Care in Sterling, VA today! Staff members were very cordial and friendly. Right from the moment I entered, I felt welcomed! Shortly, after checking in at the front desk, a medical assistant promptly checked my blood pressure and oxygen level, including my height and weight. I was so pleased when the Physcian successfully removed the plastic hearing aid tips that were embedded inside both of my ear canals, with ease! And it didn’t hurt at all! Unfortunately, this is the second situation involving members of my family that has caused us significant distress. Several months ago, my brother visited this location for treatment. Shortly after his visit, he experienced severe ear pain and was later informed by another physician that his eardrum had been damaged. While he eventually recovered under different medical care, the situation was both alarming and disappointing. At the time, we chose not to pursue the matter further. More recently, my sister visited your center due to severe dizziness. After undergoing evaluation and testing, she was informed that she had an infection and was prescribed medication accordingly. My family has been using the services you offer since you came to Sterling/Centerville and Leesburg Virginia. My husband and I have one of your doctors as our primary because he listens, makes suggestions, orders appropriate tests and follows up. I took my 4-year old daughter to get a rapid test for the flu (before I learned I could get it over the counter, doh!). First, we get scolded by another patient for being too loud (not Patient First's fault, but definitely put me in a bad mood as she could have been nicer and I was already super stressed). After we take the test, they put us in a waiting room. We were there for 50 minutes, just waiting for the results (which should have taken 15-30 minutes). My daughter was more patient than me! I was finally ready to leave and asked a nurse if someone could just call us with the results. She got a doctor who came a few minutes later. He told us she was positive and gave us some further information. Very nice, but no apology for the wait. I get that they have a lot of other patients, but
