Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Pasadena

I require special accommodations due to having a disability. I called beforehand to see if they could accommodate what I needed. The staff was extremely understanding and helpful. When I arrived, my wait was very short, the staff was already aware of my required accommodations ( not just the person I spoke with on the phone), and they were overall wonderful to deal with. The PA (Sarah Jones) was exceptional, took her time to understand my needs, addressed my pressing issue, and also gave me some great recommendations for preventative issues going forward.

I felt very welcomed and comfortable from the very moment I walked in until I left. The lady at the front desk, who also completed me intake information was very friendly and held a nice conversation with me. The entire process was quick and easy. The lady who took my vitals was also very pleasant and thorough. At first I thought she was rushing me, but she was still very nice and just being efficient. The cherry on top of the whole experience was Dr. Laura Cather. She was extremely personable making the entire appointment a great experience. I would use her as a PCP if possible. Altogether everyone I came in contact with with great at their jobs and even better people! I would highly suggest this location to everyone and anyone!

I can’t say enough about the amazing level of care I receive at the Pasadena Patient First. My symptoms were similar to a stroke but it turned out to be Bell’s palsy. The staff took my symptoms very seriously, reassured me that I was going to be ok, and expeditiously did all the testing necessary. When I left I had follow up plans, knew what was going on, and the prescriptions I needed. I have already been highly recommending this patient first to my friends and family already.

I had a very positive experience at Patient First. The staff was professional and courteous. I recommend Patient First as a great alternative to visiting your primary care physician when you can't get an appointment. In fact, I found Patient First to be more thorough than my primary care provider.

Overall, I was very impressed. Danny at the reception desk was very professional and helpful. We arrived at a good time and we were back in an exam room pretty quickly. We waited there, however, for over 45 minutes. My only suggestion would be for someone to come in and give us an update regarding time. The physician who saw us was very good. I will highly recommend Patient First!
