Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Downingtown

I love your facility. I have been to the Downingtown location....maybe 4-5 times. I have recommended it to friends and family. The medical tech that waited on me today...I think her name was Laura... was wonderful, helpful, caring, kind....she just had a warm manner about her. I don't know the name of the X-ray person but she also was wonderful. Finally, I didn't get the doctor's name, a woman with maybe an accent...not sure where she was from. She also was warm and listened to concerns about pneumonia, listened to my breathing, checked on the X-ray and determined I have bronchitis (which I have had many times...it seems to go with asthma). She asked me questions about the meds I was on and told me what she was going to prescribe. I love that I didn't have to go to a pharmacy on the way ho

Terrible experience with pediatric care At first . Brought my 15 year old to be assessed for a concussion after a fall on the ice. The provider refused to do a neuro exam - I asked multiple times. He said the headache was indicative of a concussion and to come back in 24 hours. Ignored the injury to the face and the hip completely despite visible bruising. The provider never spoke to my 15 year old, the patient, about the diagnosis or follow up. Absolute waste of time and money. Went to CHOP in KofP as I didn’t feel that a proper exam was conducted at Patient First. They did a full neuro exam and cleared my kid. They emphasized that you can’t diagnose a concussion based on one symptom. The interaction with the provider made my child feel involved in their care and aware of symptoms that

Patient service was more than expected. The wait time was acceptable. The physician, physician assistant, nurse we thorough and personable. I understood everything and left feeling better for going.

First time at Patient First and had a great experience. Katie at reception was so kind and efficient getting us registered and then within minutes we were called back. The entire staff was very caring.

I always come to this location because they have been amazing in the past. However my daughter and I went here on separate days this week and saw the same PA (Nathan Isaac Welle). Without going into details, we felt that he had zero bedside manner and neither of us felt comfortable with him at all. He even tried to prescribe amoxicillin to my daughter without looking at her chart to see that she is allergic to it! When my daughter told him she is allergic, he then said that he sees that on her chart. When we come back, we will make sure we ask if there is someone else that we can see.
