A Truly Exceptional Nursing Home Experience I cannot say enough wonderful things about this nursing home. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with warmth, and compassion.

After a bad experience at a “memory care” assisted living facility, we were thankful to find Parkview for our loved one who has Alzheimer’s. The staff is kind and understanding and welcoming to family members who wish to visit. Monthly “care conferences” with staff give us a chance to exchange information and concerns. Unlike the assisted living facility, no one pushed extra sedation; staff accommodate negative behaviors in a practical and empathetic way. My advice is to visit Parkview and see for yourself what a warm and comfortable facility it is.

I am writing this review because I have seen the reviews posted so far and I feel that they are unfair. Parkview Manor of Wellman is a wonderful asset to our area. This facility offers care from rehabilitative care with onsite physical therapy services, independent assisted living, 24 hour assisted living care, nursing home care all the way to hospice care to those who are at end of life. The staff at Parkview Manor are loving and caring and do their best to tend to the needs of ALL of their residents. There are times where staff has been pushed to be very thin, not of any fault of their own. We all need to remember that it takes special individuals to administer the love, compassion and care that our elderly community needs and these same folks are usually the ones that make the leas

They seem to really care about veterans. The staff does the best they can. There are wonderful people that work there like Jenny Malloy Tobin , and Judy . They really take care of the residence. They really do give excellent care to the veterans and the rest of the residence. I highly recommend Parkview Manor to anyone looking for long-term residence For a loved one.

I am a retired Registered Nurse and Chief Nursing Officer. I am familiar with long term care facilities. My family member has received very good care at Parkview Manor of Wellman. He has gained needed weight and they provide him with second helpings if he is still hungry. He is kept clean and shaven. He is given opportunities to participate in activities. He is doing things that he had not done previously at another facility, such as singing and dancing. They handle his medical and nursing care needs well. They communicate any needs and concerns in a timely manner. They have quarterly care conferences with family members. I receive weekly updates regarding any Covid in the facility. The facility and grounds are clean and well tended. No facility is perfect, thus I give them 4 stars. When a
