Parkridge West Hospital Emergency Room

Went in Dr didnt know a thing he told me I wasn't dehydrated but it took two full bags of fluids to make me pee a inch also it was dark colored so I Was dehydrated that place will let u die before getting the help u need oh also they left needles laying around it's a joke the last time I was there I was throwing up no fluids nothing but did write zofran next day ended up in fast pace third day ended back in the ER they finally did blood work and guess what my kidneys was shutting down they about killed me! Went to hospital from there spend a week there ended back in ER to be rushed to hospital again because pneumonia set in my lungs from throwing up they need to do better or shut down

This place needs lessons on how to treat their patients. Instead of trying get everyone in and out within a 30 minute span, maybe actually help someone? I come in with major muscle stiffness in my entire body, not even asking for meds, just asking for them to find out what's wrong with me. Im asked if im on any meds right now and I let them know I was prescribed muscle relaxers yesterday but they the stiffness actually got worse instead of any better. He takes a look at my throat/mouth (I have very very bad teeth bc pregnancies messed them up pretty bad) and immediately says "are you SURE you were prescribed the muscle relaxers?" Like he was accusing me of taking meds im not prescribed. I pulled out the prescription bottle with all of the info on it. He acted like he was going to send me h

I only had to wait a few minutes to get registered and escorted to the waiting room. My blood work was quickly done and then I was ushered to the x ray room. The halls were quiet and clean and I was treated with professionalism and respect. Gabe and Emily explained exactly what would be done before each X-ray. Impressive!

TN has a real problem making patients feel comfortable when they are suffering and in pain. They act like an I.V. is liquid gold and god forbid they give you pain medicine... my visit to Parkridge West was no exception; a debilitating back injury ended with no real help, I mentioned that in the past I have had Steroid and Cortison injections and the Doctor said (Direct Quote!) "I am not qualified to give injections." Excuse me... no qualified to give injections but you call yourself a doctor? Your better off going to the Trap House than visiting this place... at least they can give injections.

The entire staff from nursing to housekeeping were awesome. I was always treated with respect, genuine concern & professionalism. They were always prompt to answer my call light. I would highly recommend this hospital to everyone.
