I have both a nonverbal autistic son and a four-year-old who is speech-delayed, so I’ve had a lot of experience with different speech services and providers—some very reputable and highly rated. Mrs. Allen is, without a doubt, the best speech pathologist I have ever worked with. She is incredibly detail-oriented, passionate, and, most importantly, she diversifies her teaching approaches to meet each child where they are. Her communication is excellent, and her overall level of care and professionalism is honestly some of the best I’ve seen. She is currently working with my four-year-old, and we’ve seen immense progress in a short amount of time. Her platform and services deserve to be shared and marketed much more—so many families could benefit from what she offers.

I’ve been working with Mrs. Allen for the past several months, and she has been exceptional. My child has worked with multiple therapists in the past, but Mrs. Allen’s approach and the way she connects with my child is truly unique. The progress we’ve seen has been incredible, and I honestly wish we had started working with her a year ago. I highly recommend her to any parent.

Mrs. Allen is wonderful. I have a foster child who struggles with speech, and Mrs. Allen is incredibly patient and truly knows how to connect with her. She is compassionate, caring, and makes each session enjoyable. My child looks forward to attending speech therapy every Wednesday. We absolutely love Mrs. Allen. She’s the best around .

Teacher Allen has been super helpful for my preschooler and for me. While I was not attending the sessions with our previous speech therapist, I see the advantage of being part of the learning process. It’s great to be able to know what techniques are used in session and the thought process behind them. It’s also much easier now to take these ideas home and discuss them with my spouse, so we can both participate. If you’re looking for speech therapy, I’d definitely recommend Parental Guidance.

Mrs. Allen is hands down one of the best therapists we’ve encountered. She has an incredible ability to connect with my son in a way no one else has. We’re so grateful for the care and attention she provides.
