PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westminster

PAM was an amazing experience for me. Its a beautiful facility with huge private rooms and bathrooms. The view from the gym is just gorgeous. And the staff are so caring, attentive and engaged with the patients. I would say I want to go back, if it didn't involve what i had to go through to get there! But I VERY highly recommend it. I would have to say the entire staff, with the exception of one nurse with the name of Goodness, were all very helpful, respectful and understanding of my brain injury. Goodnesses was the only nurse that didn't seem to understand the factors and care that are needed in a post brain bleed injury. She was not caring nor respectful about the amount of pain I was in, and actually was laughing on the phone while speaking to the charge nurse in my room as I requested her to see what other intervention was available to help me with sleep since I was not sleeping due to the pain. She continuously left my door open after coming in and out during the night, so light and sound were a big hindrance to me sleeping, along with the pain. If you are reading this, I know you are probably scared to send your loved one to a skilled nursing/rehab center when researching these types of places. I was terrified when researching these types of places and reading their reviews. I have to say, I’m so glad I fought back with my dad’s case manager at the hospital he was in and pushed for my dad to come here. This facility is newer, clean and managed pretty well. There was a few hiccups admittedly, as one time (presumably one my dads PT team members) left his bed rail not secure and he fell out of his bed when he was asleep, but he was fine. Also, a few nurses were not good about answering the call button in a timely manner that resulted in two bathroom accidents. Aside from that, there are some good nurses and doctors here, a good woun

PAM took good care of my Mom while she was there. Unfortunately the Medical Director's bedside manner is lacking, stated coarsely "That will never heal...," but Wound Care Nurse Megan was outstanding, taking the time to answer questions, listen and empathize. Thank you Megan! Although my mom has transferred to another facility, she continues to improve every week.

I would recommend PAM Health in Westminster. Everyone is always very friendly when I walk through the door. There is high a high quality therapy program, nursing team, and other services. Everyone is always so welcoming and tries their best to be accommodating and helpful. I have always felt like my best interests are kept in mind there. Keep it up PAM Health!
