PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Allen

I was here for inpatient rehab. Everyone here was so positive. Natalie is the most dedicated physical therapist for patient graduation to get them well. I have never seen such outstanding staff in regards to personel. The respiratory therapist was also great. My rehab doctor was Dr. Dewan; he was a Positive doctor with a sincere attitude who explained everything daily, as I am sure he does with all patients. I will move on because of his knowledge, sincerity, and ability to tell the honest truth.

I loved having my outpatient therapy here. They were very helpful from the minute I walked in, Patricia had a smile and a happy greeting, to seeing Jamie as my Occupational Therapist. Everyone did what they could to make my visit easy and wanting to go back and see them again. Thank you to everyone for making my OT appointments fun and easy.

I absolutely love everybody at this PAM facility!! Jamie is the BEST, most friendly occupational therapist! She challenges me, but it always seems fun with her because she makes it that way. I have made incredible strides in my few weeks with her. My physical balance is better and my hand movements are better. I thank her so much for everything she’s done!

I had a brain aneurysm on 11/26/25. After spending almost a month in the ICU, I was discharged to PAM Rehab. I really wish my family and I had done more research before choosing this place. The bedside manner was awful, and there were serious issues with the amount of therapy I actually received compared to what was being billed to my insurance. I had just suffered a brain injury and wasn’t used to needing help to get out of bed. When I forgot to push the call button, staff would yell at me and talk down to me instead of showing any understanding. One of the most upsetting moments was when a therapist criticized how I was walking in the hallway and yanked me around by my gait belt. My Dad had an ischemic stroke November 10, with paralysis in his right arm and leg and lost his speech. One day he was fully functioning, working his business, playing music and everything changed in one night, for him and my Mom. If you've been there, you know. My Mom and I feel like we've been dropped off in a foreign country with a foreign language, and we're just trying to figure out where the bathroom is! There is much to navigate in this new world. This can bring a heavy heart to all involved. I've prayed for God to place the right people in our paths, to help us navigate these waters. And, He did.
