Palos Pediatrics: Dr. George Skarpathiotis M.D. & Associates

This office is extremely weird. At my sons first appointment we saw Dr. George skarpatheosis’s son where he expressed to us the importance of being educated when making the choice of vaccinating vs not vaccinating and he encouraged us to follow what we, as parents, believed was best for our son. He also told us that he was more lenient than some of the other doctors in the office. When we left that appointment we felt so safe and empowered that we had found a solid doctor who was going to give us the time and the space to make what we feel, is very important decisions for our son. Fast forward, our son (around 4 months old at this point) spiked a fever so we obviously brought him in to be seen. My experience with this office wasn’t good. My newborn had 4 visits total and I felt like he was a new patient each time and nothing was done for him and his severe reflux. We saw a different doctor each visit, which would have been fine if they communicated and shared notes with each other. I switched pediatricians and immediately got more answers with that single visit than I did with the 4 visits at this office.

Care quality is terrible! I brought my son to Dr Zoe Alikakos at birth and entrusted her with my son's health for the past 7 years. I thought she cared about my son's well being, but sadly I was wrong. All that doctor and this practice cares about is getting paid for vaccinating your child. Nothing more! After giving my son all the mandatory and recommended IL vaccinations for 2 years old, of which he received a total of 22 vaccines! This was not enough to immunize him. I receive this letter bellow which denies my son medical care because I didn't boost him the additional 5 booster vaccines for his age. I didn't boost him because he had several reactions to his previous boosters, but of course, they didn't care to ask or hear about It. Please steer clear of this practice and find a pediat

Great office…organized, clean and efficient. Dr. Zoe and all the doctors have been nothing but kind and patient every time we go in. All 3 of my kids love going to the doctor and getting their duck after.

Great team of attentive doctors! My kids have been seeing them since birth and it’s been wonderful. Easy to work with and very accommodating.
