Palo Verde Hospital

My 94 year old father fell hitting his head on the concrete, all was okay. Two months later in February of 2025, he started experiencing stroke like symptoms. My niece took him to Palo Verde Hospital and they took a CT scan which revealed a hemorrhage. He was immediately air lift him to Regional Hospital in Palm Desert where he underwent 6 hour brain surgery. It has been 9 months and my dad is well and continues to ride his tricycle 3 miles. I thank all the doctors and wonder Nurses at Palo Verde Hospital.

I dont understand why all the negative reviews… I’m from Kentucky just traveling through. And needed to be seen.. they from check in to check out are absolutely amazing. The nurses, doctors, check in, cleaning staff. Highly recommended. They took care of my pain fast found the problem within an hour got immediate attention for that. The bad reviews confuse me. This place was amazing

If only you could leave negative stars I would. I can't tell you the doctors name because he never introduced himself. Spent less than a minute in the room with my husband after his roll over vehicle accident. He never did a physical assessment on him. My husband asked him to assess his arm and clean it the doctor wouldn't. The doctor just wanted to intubate him and fly him out. Contraindications for intubation is breathing on your own and broken teeth( which he had 3). The doctor was to busy on his phone to help him. We had to leave AMA because the doctor refused to help. This place felt like an organ chop shop. Run away!!! On the other hand the nurse Steve the traveling nurse was trying to do everything he could to help despite the awful conditions and lack of doctor participation.

Horrible excuse of a hospital. If I could give no stars I would. I would rather die than go here EVER again. I am 13 weeks pregnant and woke up with huge cyst like lumps on both of my legs causing me to be in so much pain, I hate hospitals but being pregnant I figured better safe than sorry. Wrong. The doctor came in and didn’t even look at my legs basically laughed and told me to stop using google and that they look like “bug bites”. Mind you, I couldn’t walk, sleep and was in throbbing pain in both legs and not once did she take me seriously. Since then I have been seen by a different hospital and diagnosed with blood clots (DVT) a life threatening condition if not taken seriously. Do not recommend this place what so ever!

It was an experience all right one that me myself & or anybody else should have to go through,, I doubt there's enough space here to write down what I really think of this so called hospital
