Palms West Hospital: Pediatrics

This has always being the hospital I bring my daughters every time we have an emergency. My 6 Year old has being admitted different times, due to febrile seizures when She was 2 years old, and recently she even had surgery due to apendicitis. Everytime We go our experience is amazing. I want to thank the nurses at the ER they are always amazing, caring , knowledgeable . Especially Nurse Carolina, She is literally always there . On the Pediatric unit We want to thank nurse Natalie and Melany . They were amazing with our daughter. The doctors of the Pediatric team also explained everything to us , and were checking on us Constantly. Dr. Pugliesi who performed her surgery is also an amazing doctor as well as the entire Anestesia team. Thank you so much for all that you did for my daughter .

I'm so glad I brought my toddler here. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. They made a potentially stressful situation feel calm and reassuring. Truly one of the best hospital experiences I've ever had

We had a great experience at the Pediatric ER today. Every person we interacted with was friendly and professional and knew how to work with and communicate effectively with little kids who aren’t feeling well. Very thankful that they took such good care of my son and in a timely manner, too!

The pediatric infusion center here has been a fantastic experience for us every time. My daughter receives regular infusions here and the staff is kind and gentle. We’ve had great experiences with them and the pediatrics department in general.

I had a horrible experience at palms west. Took my 4 year old who’s very sick. The initial carry into waiting room was quick but they kept us in that waiting room for 2.5 hours! We got to see two doctors who gave my child a check up in the waiting room. My little one started throwing up and I got angry with them and as quick as they could they took us into a room. Why were we handled like this!? After in a room they dismissed my concerns and sent us home. My child is still here very sick. Never going back there again.
