Yesterday was one of the hardest days of our lives — we had to say goodbye to our beloved Yoshi, who had been with us for 16 wonderful years. I had made an appointment at Banfield Pet Hospital, where we had been loyal clients for all those years. But the night before, Yoshi was in so much pain that none of us could sleep. His cries were unlike anything we had ever heard from him — heartbreaking, gut-wrenching sounds that tore us apart. When I called Banfield that morning, they could hear him crying in the background, yet still told me they could not see him any earlier than his scheduled appointment at 2:30 p.m. We couldn’t let him suffer any longer.
