Dr. Shustik is hands-down the best medical doctor I have seen in my 45 years of life! His demeanor and bed-side manner is calm, positive, thorough, attentive, flexible, and personal. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed and asked me questions about my recreational life (which no doctor has ever done before!). We also discussed vitamin supplements to address some life phase events and he made recommendations as to what I need. I find that doctors usually are distracted or rushed when visiting their patients, but not with Dr. Shustik. I had the sense that this doctor REALLY cared about my whole being and not just the fact that I just needed a physical exam and some other work done. Dr. Shushtik has to be one of the most caring human beings I have come across. My husband and I were out of town, when my youngest daughter broke her arm. Our pediatrician never called us back, with being out of town and trying to get home to her, my nerves were shot and I was extremely annoyed to say the least ,when I never heard back from who was our pediatrician at the time ... my husband and I decided to call our doctor, and see what he recommended till we got home. Our doctor recommended calling Dr. Shushtik. Within an hour or so; he meet my daughter ( and nanny) at the nearest hospital to represent us as a pediatric doctor and as a parent. Long wait to see physician. Have almost had to leave. Also was charged a lot for just fluids. ( $1,000.00) Refuses to try to put anything through insurance. I pay a yearly service fee, which I will not do again. Does not follow up if you have been to the ER. As well as its taken two months to get into a specialist. The only reason I got into one now is due to me going to the ER, from something bad happening. Very nice office, and office staff, but very disappointed with the lack of running tests to avoid health issues, and the ER. Also the doctor did not have permission to speak with some physicians, yet tried to without my verbal or written consent.
