Pafford EMS - Del City

Pafford EMS - Del City Oklahoma have very rude people working there and will take your loved one to the hospital of their choosing! They will NOT listen to your wishes! And the management will NOT listen to your complaints. If you live in Del City this is the only EMS service that will come to your home. Look at all the one-star reviews. Pafford EMS needs to leave Del City Oklahoma!!!

I'm a full time care taker for a Vietnam combat veteran who happens to be my father. I got sick in February and had to call an ambulance, Pafford is fairly new to our city by the way. The ambulance people were extremely rude, even asked me at one point why I was calling an ambulance when the hospital was just a mile away. I ended up having diverticulitis and wasn't given a thing in the ambulance, not even an IV. Then I got a bill for over 1500$ for under a mile. My suggestion is if you live in the area and need an ambulance I would definitely request EMSA over Pafford. They are rude and extremely over priced.

They did a great job getting my family member to the ER. My only issue is with billing. They sent them a bill for the services instead of their health insurance company. First person I spoke with told me my family member was on a plan that doesn't cover ambulance and they were rude when I told them yes they do and they basically hung up on me. The 2nd person flat out told me that the specific insurance company doesn't pay for ambulance ride. (That was after I had just got off the phone with insurance company and confirmed the plan my family member is on and that they indeed do and will cover that bill.) When I informed the agent that they do and I just confirmed with them prior to calling Pafford back they were huffy and asked for the insurance info and said they'd send it to see if it'll

Last night with my family emergency I would like to thank the wonderful lady dispatcher that stayed with me on line and walked me thru all my fears plus contacted every person that I needed. I am so grateful and I appreciate your kindness and making sure my loved one got to the hospital safe for his care/and my safety.Thanks to all and each kind responders that took the time to assess, very calm which assured me all was thoughtful and kept me calm and even with being so upset/ I was so shook up trying to give the proper info to them they needed. Del City and all involved(THANK YOU All)AmbulanceStaff/FireDepartment/Police) and if I missed any one forgive me. Without you all he would be shooting stars from Heaven. ❤️
