PADGETT CENTER for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine

I am currently listed as a patient of Dr. Padgett, yet I have never actually met him. Unfortunately, my experience with his office has been extremely disappointing due to the consistently rude and unempathetic behavior of the staff. I arrived 9 minutes late to my 8:45 a.m. appointment after driving an hour to the office, delayed by extremely dense fog. Because I did not call ahead to notify them that I would be late, I was refused care altogether. Additionally, I have repeatedly expressed that I am experiencing severe pain, and despite explaining that I have followed all instructions and done everything within my power to manage the pain at home without relief, the physician assistant refused to appropriately address or manage my pain. I went in to see Dr Padgett for a bad AC joint injury. I had multiple problems with my shoulder and it had been lingering for months. He gave me a steroid shot in the joint, it finally stopped the chronic inflammation, and has allowed me to start the healing process. I highly recommend him.

Although the Dr is quick with diagnosis, they are more of "only doing what they can make $ from". Low cooperative on filling out basic fmla paper work so that you can recover with less stress of having to worry about getting your short term disability pay because of paperwork delays. 7 to 10 days to fill out a form and and an additional charge to do so.

Dr Padgett and his team came highly recommended. He has a wonderful bedside manner and genuinely cares for his patients. His office got me in quickly, did an MRI in-house and repaired my ruptured Achilles all in a matter of days. I'm healing great thanks to his surgical excellence. Thank you Dr. Padgett and staff.

I have a 16 yr old son and he had a complete ACL tear in L knee during a soccer game. It was highly recommended we see Dr. Padgett's office and we can not be more pleased. His bedside manner with a young athlete is wonderful. His skills as an orthopedic surgeon is top notch. In our opinion could not have found a better surgeon to take care of our boy.
