The Facility is doing great. I have wonderful experience here. Nurses, Doctors and everybody are great! The care is wonderful, specially the Physical Therapist. They let me start walking again. Food is so great. I tried to loose weight but I gained weight. I have never know that this place is here. The Maintenance people are also doing a great job. They clean everyday. Sherry, the wound care nurse healed my wounds, she does a good job. I met Geoff, the Administrator and his is really nice guy. It is just wonderful and I love it here.
I cannot find any fault in this facility. Even my sister said would say that this is a very safe place. I couldn't walk when I came here, and now I have been walking with the Therapist. They keep up on things well and everybody is on top of everything.
Geoff, the Administrator of Pacific Heights runs the place really good. The employees are supervised very well by the Administrator. I love the Activity Director and her assistants. The Social Workers and the Chinese Interpreter are very helpful and doing good jobs. The Nurses are also always on hand an willing to help. The House Keeping keeps the room an the building very clean.
My mom stayed at Pacific Heights Transitional Care Center for about three months after a severe hemorrhagic stroke on October 13, 2024. Before her stroke, she was an incredibly active 57-year-old who had just hiked Half Dome. Her decline was sudden and devastating. She needed an emergency craniectomy, was intubated, and spent weeks unable to open her eyes, speak, sit up, or even hold her head up. She then lived three and a half months without part of her skull before undergoing a cranioplasty. It was an unimaginably intense medical journey. When she first came home, she had complete left-side hemiplegia, needed to be pushed everywhere in a wheelchair, and our two flights of stairs made daily care extremely unsafe. Nearly six months post-stroke, a home health PT told us he did not believe
The staff here are so nice, so helpful and patient. The staff members are lifting my spirit. They are really great. They come and help me when i ask for help. The Nurses are helping me with my medications. They explain what the medications are for. The facility is very nice and very clean. They make sure everything is nice and tidy. The food is really good. They have everything.
