Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center Emergency Department

Im new to the deal going on with my lumbar are of my back. Its bad enough to effect my walking and is painful as it gets. They treated the pain with a couple shots in my hip. I was able to walk and get a cup of coffee the next morning. They admitted there isn't a surgery that can fix my back and was straight up about what to expect and not to. They have an awesome staff. None of them treated me badly and was very accommodating on my needs. They are very informative. I hate doctors haven’t seen none for years until recently. I personally wish I had plenty of times now. Thank you guys

The most empathetic people I've met in a very long time. They took the time they didn't have and sat with me until I was calmed down and my pain subsided. You have a good crew. Since Owensboro Health has taken over the hospital, it is night and day. Everyone is more competent. They have some of the best phlebotmists I've ever seen and as someone with 1001 chronic illnesses & being a "hard stick" I have a lot of experience with them. In fact my worst experience was at this hospital before Owensboro took over. This visit was for an infected sebaceous cyst that hadn't gotten better with antibiotics. They got me in and numbed and the cyst drained and on my way home in less than an hour. Dr Patel was very thorough and nice.

The cardiologist team was excellent. They answered my concerns and listened to me carefully with positive and educational feedback regarding complications with my heart. Thank you!
