Outpatient Center

Went to get some labs done and get containers for collecting a sample. The blood draw went fine, but when it came to the containers, there were issues. First, they didn’t give me all the materials needed. Then they started pointing fingers and blaming each other for it. Then they argued over whether or not I had the right containers. It really didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing. They said I was all set and good to leave, so I began my hour drive home. On the way home, I get a call saying they forgot something. I had to turn around and come back to the office, and it took over fifteen minutes in the waiting area for them to even get me the missing item. Then they tried to act like they did me a service by having me come back the second time.

Everyone was extremely helpful, and made me feel welcome and in good hands! I had 2 procedures (colonoscopy and EGD), and I'm not sure if I could have been in better hands. From the nurse who only had to poke me once for my IV with my small veins, to the anesthesiologist doctor and the nurse who checked me in, to the nurse who greeted me when I awoke and wheeled me to my waiting driver. Everyone in the outpatient surgery room made me feel safe and taken care of as well! Thank you, everyone ❣️

Shaking my head, and rolling my eyes!!!!! Every place has bad days. But they seem to be quite often here. Plus side, most of the staff are pleasant.

Had a question about a charge through the check-in process, and I got transferred four times and the last time I was transferred it was a busy signal!
