My time at this office was not pleasant. The Nurse for my Neurologist was COMPLETELY FLAT OUT RUDE to my Wife and I telling us the Neurologist left without letting us know that he did and that it was his early day. We called ahead of time to say we were in traffic and on our way and was told there was a 15 min grace period and that we were good by the ladies at the front desk. We got there within the 15 minute grace period when our appointment was at 2:30 pm and got there at 2:40 pm. We asked to see someone else who is covered on our insurance, she said “oh no it don’t work like that”. After I WAITED A MONTH AND A HALF FOR THIS APPOINTMENT!!!! & My Wife took half a day off from her school clinic. So I lost money and she could have been in school. The lack of communication from this office
The tech for the neurology group does not care about patients, their medical needs or their experience. She also does not value their time or care that it is difficult for people to take time off from work to make an appointment so they can finally stop experiencing pain. You are not treated like a patient or a paying customer, but rather like a number in a time slot. She doesn’t care if you have to wait another month for the next available appointment when she could easily keep the appointment you already had that day. She will use any excuse to be able to take an early lunch instead of keeping an appointment with a patient.
My mom arrived at 3:10pm for her 3pm appointment. The front desk young lady said she’s have to reschedule because she misses her appointment. Most places give at least a 15 minute window for patients. I think that’s horrible. So, her rescheduled appointment with Dr. Heir is now in August. Where is the empathy for patients?
Dr. Heir constantly talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and questioned the decisions of my other doctors. He was misogynistic consistently and kept pulling his facial mask down during the visit for absolutely no reason. Had some weird powerplay with the medicine he prescribed - "only going to give you x amount per month, so use it wisely," and "can I actually trust you to take this medicine?" - after saying my care team has me on too much medicine, of course. He was overtly unprofessional and rude, please go elsewhere if you have the option. --- I submitted a formal complaint on March 4th. I am attaching it below. If you have also faced this sort of treatment from Dr. Heir, I encourage you to put in a complaint as well. Hearing that other people have faced this kind of behaviour from
My visit actually mirrored the visit of Morgan Hewitt: "Dr. Heir constantly talked over me, dismissed my concerns, and questioned the decisions of my other doctors...Had some weird powerplay with the medicine ....saying my care team has me on too much medicine.....He was overtly unprofessional and rude, please go elsewhere if you have the option." Read her review again, I have copied some of the same behaviors I was subjected to. Then add that he diagnosed me with osteoporosis with no xray, totally dismissed the reason for my visit, talked over me, never really heard why I was there or didn't care. I could tell he was a new addition, because his name had recently been added to the list on the front glass window. He was argumentative, had not accessed my prior medical record for verifica
