I went to this hospital because I was cramping couldn’t stop vomiting I took 7 pregnancy test at home they all was positive. Went to the er to confirm it because this was my first pregnancy and I didn’t know what to do . I was over hydrated which can throw your test off guess they didn’t know that . They told me it was negative sent me to the other side said that “the test I took at home must’ve been a bad test” . Sent me to the other side the nurse on the urgent care side gone tell me “ well it don’t pay for me to retest you because they already did so it would be pointless , you sure you just don’t have a std “ here i am now 8 weeks pregnant with a confirmed ultrasound. Mind you they misdiagnosed me and told me I had diverticulitis when really I didn’t have nothing and everything was fin
Brought My grandma here because a small wound on the side of her face wouldn’t stop bleeding and it have been bleeding over and hour. Get to the back and they claim they have no beds so they sent my grandma to the other side which is the urgent care. While the lady is up in here flirting with police/security guard. Told us that if the urgent can’t do anything that are just gonna send my grandma right back to the emergency department. This is shameful firstly how there are people with no compassion and are hired to help people practice such malpractice. Can’t do their job because they are too busy in a man face. Their personal needs can be taken care of outside of work, but I guess it’s not good enough so they have to come to work with that foolishness. This is the worst experience by far
While visiting home for the weekend I brought my mom in to be seen and this was my first time there. My sister that lives in BR is usually the one that brings her. First of all I would like to say how overly impressed I was with the level of care and concern that was shown to my mother! We started off in the urgent care section and then went over to the ER. I didn't realize it was an actual ER! Very impressive! I am a nurse and I am very particular when it comes to my mom and the care she receives . Everyone from the nurses, the PA, Physician, EKG tech, X-ray tech, EVERYONE was wonderful. I left there knowing that everything was done for my mother that should have been done. They went above and beyond to check her out thoroughly! As my mom would say, they "didn't leave no stone unturned."
Their primary care unit is the worst. And I say this with conviction! I have been leaving messages for several months now, trying to speak with Dr. Stumpf’s nurse regarding my brother’s medication. As of today, I am still waiting! On yesterday I called again and updated them that my brother is completely out of his medication and is unable to keep his food down. Despite providing this information, they didn’t care enough to return my call. These are the people who hold our lives in their hands. It’s scary and shameful that this is what healthcare amounts to nowadays!
On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, I brought my mother in for care. The reception personnel were outstanding, however, when I got back to the ER exam room, the nurses and assistances were very rude. The doctor was excellent. The nurses need to be mindful that family members are already under enough stress with bringing their loved ones to any facility and when we ask questions with the permission of the patient they should be answered with compassion and completely. The nurses dance around questions asked and don't give complete answers, which aggravates me to the highest extent. The only thing that was good is that they started blood work and x-rays (other testing) immediately and we didn't have to wait in the ER very long. I pray to God I never have to visit this facility.
