Our Lady Of The Lake

I was admitted in this hospital on December 23 I had a heart attack. Dr Van De Car was the cardiologist who took my case. He is very good at his job. I want to give e a Shout out to the nurses who cared for me. Top Notch.. Haileigh, Lauren, and Nate, Thank you all for your kindness and care. As busy as it got ya'll found the time to check in me. I appreciate you all very much you made my stay much better. I am away from my home in West Virginia, and here for the Holidays, ya'll are fantastic.

Sat in this junkyard for nearly 5 hours doubled over crying in pain. Waited in a line of wheelchairs as each one had blood drawn, The phlebotomist NEVER WASHED HER HANDS ! I didn’t say anything because I was scared she would take offense to my request so I just prayed that I was not getting infected from the previous patients. I left after my name was called and because I couldn’t find where they were calling me from and could barely walk ( I was never offered a wheelchair btw) they moved on. When I addressed them they said oh u want a wheelchair? Here sit down and she proceeded to roll me right back to the waiting room. I ended up at BR General and needed emergency surgery. This place is nasty and a waste of medical employees! DO NOT GO TO OUR LADY OF THE LAKE IF YOU HAVE A REAL EMERGENCY

I was waiting in the EMERGENCY room for over 5 hours with no results. There was a handful of other people being treated the exact same way. Don’t rely on them for ER support

currently been sitting in the waiting room at the ER for 5 hours, i have a extremely big cut on my leg close to my joint and have been bleeding out since being here . i was told i would get a room soon about 2hrs ago but am i still currently waiting . i asked the lady at the desk for some help and all she could do was look at me ignorantly and give me a plain pack of gauges and tell me have a seat . by now i have lost an extreme amount of blood and i do NOT recommend anyone visiting this hospital for an emergency .

Our Lady of The Lake Hospital in my opinion is awesome. The Staff is very professional, supportive, courteous as well as articulate and informative.
