Osco Pharmacy

I recently had a travel typhoid vaccine filled. Unfortunately no one told me when I picked it up that I must refrigerate the vaccine. Since I didn’t need to take it right away, it’s been kept in the bag the pharmacy gave me for a week now and at room temp. The lady who gave it to me didn’t say anything about how to store it. So today I found out that the vaccine is now no good. When I called and talked to the pharmacist Sam, she was very understanding & said they would replace it since they should have told me what to do and how to take the meds. Now I call that excellent service. The vaccine is $157 and I definitely didn’t want to pay that. Lesson learned for me is to read all the fine prints immediately even if I didn’t need to take the meds right away.

I was recently forced to have my RXs transferred to Osco From another pharmacy in Livingston that stopped filling rxs for my town. Everything was fine until a few weeks ago. The last straw was when I I ordered refills online early last week and only received 1 in the mail. The other 2 were not sent out even though I am on the mail out list due to my remote location. I kept getting texts saying that they were ready and still had not received them. I called and no one answered and I got a vm saying box was not set up and to call back. I finally got to speak with someone and told her (Faith, I believe her name was) that I was on the mail out list but keep getting texts that my rxs were ready (almost daily for a week). The pharmacy is as efficient as they can be considering how busy they are. But my comment and 1 star rating are directed to “H” TECH IN TRAINING...I’m not allowed to use her name. She is rude and condescending. I was bounced to a live person, while using the automated system, when trying to find out if a prescription was ready and she notified me that “we don’t appreciate calls like this, u need to use our app” - first of all “H”, I was trying to use the automated system. Second, what about the elderly who may not understand apps or use them? Third, what about people who cannot afford smartphones or computers so they can’t use the app u so rudely tout? We were traveling out of state, ran low on meds and Osco pharmacy at Albertsons in Livingston filled my prescription and had all paperwork done when we arrived. In and out in minutes. Excellent service! Thanks!!

I guess I left a poor review in the past and I'm rectifying that issue. Everyone in this pharmacy is extremely pleasant to deal with, they remember people and are always friendly, even when I've been less than. I would recommend them to anyone.
