Orthopedic Urgent Care at OAL

After having chronic shoulder pain for a few years I finally went to have it checked out. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I had my four month old baby with me and they were all considerate of her and helpful. I ended up having a procedure done with needles to extract calcium deposits from the tendons in my shoulder with Dr Liu. He and the nurse were were very helpful and kind and talked through the procedure and it was virtually pain free. I appreciate the skill and treatment I received.

I am very impressed with the way I was treated at OAL Lebanon. The provider Scott PA-C took an interest in my symptoms and was very thoughtful in the way he explained why this and not that. Because radiology MRI and lab services are available at this site, my morning was spent in one place and not having to schedule and then travel to complete my tests somewhere else. Registration for all services were completed efficiently. I am recommending OAL Lebanon as my choice for urgent orthopedic services.

Worse experience ever... I came in after a skiing trip with a swollen thumb and limping my way there after hurting my leg too with the fall. They ordered an MRI saying "I had pain on my thumb and i asked for an MRI" which the insurance immediately declined. After 3 months of wait, I still have not heard from the doctor or the office. My insurance asked that it be properly worded and the doctor still today has not taken the time to resubmit his request. I will be finding a new doctor and would never recommend this facility to anyone... my finger and knee still have not recovered after they sent me home to wait for my MRI.

What is the point of an “urgent care” if they’re going to direct you to an ED for non life treating things.

Quick visit, friendly staff, and great folks at reception. Highly recommended.
