*they are a private office not a part of Hartford healthcare even tho they are located in a Hartford health building* oh if I could give 0 stars. I really should have read the reviews before coming here. I came in last Wednesday for the “walk in” sobbing with excruciating lower back pain. They made me wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes crying to the point other patients with appointments waiting were asking me if I was okay, not the staff once. They kept watching me crying and made eye contact with me multiple times and but not word to me. But then some guy comes in for a walk in claiming he “broke” his leg but he already went to the hospital and they told him there was nothing wrong with his leg. I came here in pain and unable to move my shoulder. Im really getting tired of dealing with young doctors. They do not have the best bedside manner and do not understand the word "PRIVACY". I think the PAs name was Jonathan or something like that. He came in and just started talking. I had my husband close the door, but the PA said, "I leave it open because I like the air to circulate." What the hell? I dont care if WW10 was going on. Close the damn door. Then I explained my situation and expressed concern about being able to work despite doing pendulum exercises....his response was "How do you know about pendulum exercises?" Huh?! Who says that? Who cares if I know the terminology or not, what can be done. I asked for a cortisone shot. He gives me an arm sling and out the door I go. He sa

this place is a complete joke.. i can’t believe the way i was treated when visiting. the staff are constantly talking and taking their time socializing like if it’s some type of reunion. Also, they are extremely rude. One of the ladies working at the desk was an absolute disgrace and didn’t even do her own job right after calling me off on something was my fault. Something else worth mentioning, a family member of mine has previously ben here before and was reared horribly and said that she is perfectly fine and had nothing wrong with her. She ended up going to the er awhile after and found out what was wrong. Overall, the staff are complete clowns.

Horrible. (Read the last sentence), but I had a Walk-in visit had X-ray done for a possible broken finger. The doctor came in and she took my finger and twisted it without warning to see if it hurt.. Sounds funny but true and it did hurt.. Then just to get a splint and a tape that she wrapped and sent me home (which is fine). 1 month later I got a bill saying the cost was $226 for the $2 cheap splint (which I got another one after) and a $3 tape I can get at cvs (which i did still)… Never told me or even bother asking me that the doctor would charge me for that Cheap tape and splint! What a scam seriously, if you go there and they ask you if want a cup of water FIRST ASK THEM IF THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE YOU FOR THAT WATER A MONTH LATER!

I visited Ortho Ouch care on 5/1 after being awaked in the middle of the night with excruciating pain in my left hip and knee.Not wanting to wait to see my regular Ortho, we ventured here from Rocky Hill and were sorry we did. The nurse on duty couldn't have been more rude! She started by rudely telling me that I could only be seen for 1 issue at a time. Once in the exam room, she asked me if there was a chance I could be pregnant and once I told her I was very likely pregnant, she gave me a look as if to say "are you kidding me?!" I refused an xray, not knowing if it could harm the potential fetus and after her telling me I would have to sign a waiver, at that point, she was done with me. She left the room and a man came in, looked briefly at my knee and said there was nothing he could do
