Orphan Pharmacy Services

I am well aware of the shortcomings of dealing with the various prices of pharmaceuticals; my prescription plan has proven to be of little value to me as I have often found pricing without insurance to be cheaper. I was directed to the Orphan Pharmacy, Syosset to fill prescriptions for very high priced ophthalmic medications. I was not only pleased to find that the pharmacy could apply special coupons which radically reduced the price, but only found the staff to be very available and accommodating. Ramon made himself readily available to me, and we had a few conversations regarding his services. They offered free shipping, however, I preferred to stop in for pickup. I am a returning customer and they have earned a 5 star rating.

The pharmacist and staff were very nice to me. They stayed after hours yesterday so I may pick my medicine after work. The pharmacist offered to deliver personally to my home but I didn’t want to be burdensome!! Prescription was for an antibiotic to use after my cataract surgery . I switched to a new opthalmologist who transferred my prescription to this mail-in pharmacy. 90 day supply of 1 eye drops and 30 day of another smaller one which had a total retail price of ~$2,200. They shipped it in maybe a 5 cent envelope (see picture) which was torn during shipping. It's a miracle the smaller eye drop didn't fall out. Later, I discovered that they forgot to add the 3rd box of the 90 day supply and that envelope can't even hold 3 of those boxes. Spoke to a rep today morning who said they would get back to me in an hour but never did. Idk how they will fix it but I don't think this pharmacy can be trusted with delivery of medication.

Highly recommend! I picked up my mom’s medication from here this week and I had such a great experience. The pharmacy was clean and organized. The gentleman who assisted me, Tamim, was kind an generous. An amazing place to do business!

The headsets their operators use are terrible, and I almost couldn’t tell the difference between the operator speaking to me and the background chatter of other operators on the phone. I had to reach out to them to inquire when I was getting my prescription delivered after not hearing anything for a few days, from which they claimed they left me a voicemail earlier in the week (which I never received). The person I spoke to couldn’t provide me any information without speaking to a manager first and sighed into the mic whenever I asked a question as simple as if I’d receive in writing a EOB. Overall would not want to use them again.
