We’ve used Dr. Beckman for two different dogs now, one of which is human reactive in clinic settings. The staff was very accommodating with her and was able to give her an amazing cleaning. They are always thorough, informative, and are great at communicating every step from the time the appointment is booked to check out. It’s absolutely worth the hour drive. I highly recommend this team and establishment if you have a pup that needs an extensive dental and has other health complications you might be concerned about. One of my personal dogs is a heart patient who needed a dental done, and it was not going to be done by any routine veterinary practice. Many would not even see her because I stopped over vaccinating my senior dogs. Dr. Beckman and his team welcomed my Darling Roxanne and put all my concerns at ease. Roxanne came home only slightly groggy from her procedure and is back to her spunky 15 1/2 year old self demanding her meals. pets and attention. Dr. Beckman provided the best care imaginable for our golden doodle who needed extractions and gingiva removal. I was kept informed during the entire process and knew that our dog was in the best hands. The office is welcoming, Annie was very communicative and kind, and the front desk person was lovely. Our dog had major issues with his teeth which we had not been able to address because of his heart murmur. Dr. Beckman, Vet Tech Mills and the entire crew at OVD were awesome and made both us and our 14-year-old dog comfortable and confident. Post op instructions were clear and recovery has been quick and uneventful and Scout's quality of life has improved dramatically now that his tooth and jaw pain is gone.
